What can I say… an amazing stay for our business over a weekend. Nothing was too much trouble. From booking the stay to leaving the communication was first class. The staff were fantastic as were James and Fiona. Will definitely be rebooking very soon.

Springkell House is an absolutely stunning venue. We booked it for a surprise 30th and James & his staff were all wonderful in making it go off without any problems. Amazing hospitality from all the staff, great communication in the run up to it with loads of extra little touches that really went over and above what we expected. I'm sure we'll definitely be back at some point in the future for another event as it truly was fantastic! I would hugely recommend you to consider having an event here!

We rented out Springkell House for a company team event and our stay wildly exceeded all of our expectations. We were a large group and James made the entire planning process so incredible easy and smooth. Every detail was taken care of without us having to make planning the retreat a full-time job. Upon arriving at the incredible house after an easy train journey from London, the team was completely blown away by the grandeur of the location - no one expected something quite so out of a storybook. The house had room and then some for our 32 person team without forcing colleagues into awkward bed sharing situations as James and his staff had graciously prepared the rooms as singles beforehand. The rooms extremely comfortable and impeccably designed, fitting in well with the classic design of the house. Meals were superb and our dietary restrictions well catered for. The incredibly patient staff kept the bar open pouring drinks until the wee hours. We had full reign of the house and its huge grounds (including even a late night trip to an old abandoned church and graveyard on the property!) The venue was perfect down to the last details - croquet on the lawn, tea and cakes in the afternoon, dozens of different taxi and shuttle accommodations arranged and paid, gorgeous whiskey selection, great sound system - and James could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He certainly has done wonders with his family home, and we wish him the all the best! Will definitely be personally recommending it to anyone I know planning a large group event.
