It was incredible!! We had the best time, so gorgeous!
The weather was poor, but we enjoyed the house!
The property was well kept inside and out. Lots of little touches such as extra blankets in the rooms, sunscreen and flashlights. There were plenty of games in the basement and kitchen was well stocked. We had a fun long weekend and enjoyed sitting by the water in the sun during the day and star gazing at night. Very relaxing and quiet! Would definitely return during the summer to enjoy the water activities.
We had an incredible stay at Woodhaven Hideaway! We visited in late March, perfect weather for hoodies around the fire pit down by the lake. The house was exactly as listed with everything we needed for 2 families to be comfortable. We loved the lake front location and despite the 50/60 degree temperatures, we enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that were set out for us. I especially loved all the little details of this home. Adorable wooden signs noting the "inside" and the "outside" blanket baskets. And the under the stairs hideaway just for the kids! The deck was a really winner here at this house. We enjoyed cooking and eating all our meals outside. Overall, this house was perfect and we can't wait to come back next year!
The location of the property as well as the interior was amazing and beautiful. It easily accommodated five adults and four children (6 years old and younger). The firepit near the water and dock can't be beat. Would be go back... absolutely; however, there were items that did not meet our expectations and as for the hot tub not functioning is just flat-out false advertising. It was forecast (and did) to rain ALL DAY 03/09/2024. We rented the property because it included a hot tub that we plan to utilize. Had we known it did not work we would have rented elsewhere. The rear porch lights also did not function (I tried swapping bulbs) so had I not brought a flashlight I would have been grilling in pitch black as the lanterns they provided don't project light. Also, the upstairs bathroom had clumps of long hair stuck to the wall when we arrived. Other than that, we had a great time. Maybe next time we will have better weather and any issues we had will have been addressed.
