Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful unit in an outstanding location. We were lucky to stay for a week and did not require a car during our stay as everything we needed could be delivered or we went for a walk. Hervey Bay is a national treasure and I cannot wait for the opportunity to return again.
Communication issues. Broken mirror with broken glass everywhere - host did not answer calls for hours. Airbnb became involved. 5 hours later they offered us alternate accommodation in a much smaller apartment with none of the amenities we had paid for, for one night. Next day refused to answer messages until airbnb became involved and refused to move us back even though apartment was cleaned up. Airbnb relocated us. Host became quite abusive once accommodation was cancelled and told us to leave immediately. We still had to pack bags, clean up etc. Unprofessional texts ensued. The unit was lovely but the management company was lacking, aggressive when they did respond, and extremely unhelpful. We have all the messages from Fraser Coast and airbnb to back up everything stated here. Airbnb were amazing in helping to find a workable solution.
The apartment is beautiful. Right opposite the sea and with a beautiful pool. Close to great places to eat and the pier. Wonderful aircon!!! Very relaxing.
