Positive: Good WiFi, plenty of hot water with good pressure for shower. The view was incredible. It is an old (historic) building but the apartment has been updated. The beds are maybe a little too firm for me but my husband thought perfect. The washing machine did the job and there was laundry soap provided. The location is good. Walkable to lots of places. Lots of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, shops, markets in the area. Plenty of buses and taxis nearby. Uber worked fine also. Negative. Noise: From the small bedroom, you hear the sound of the elevator all night long. In the larger bedroom, the traffic noise is prevalent. So if you are noise sensitive, noise canceling headphones or ear plugs would help. Towels: Only bath towels provided, no face towels. A bit sparse on the toilet paper. I really enjoyed being in the historic area and staying in this old building. And you just can’t beat the view. I recommend!

This is a historic building which makes it a unique stay and in the heart of the “downtown” city/commercial area. After the main sights, you will have to walk a bit or drive farther out to find neighbourhoods to wander for restaurants/cafes and the beach. The apartment has been renovated and updated, very comfy beds and overall a nice stay! Parking is attached to the building, helpful people around.

Once in a lifetime experience. if you go to Montevideo this place is a must to stay. Very comfortable and classy apartment, great location with a view to the plaza. Thank you!
