Cottage on the bluff overlooks the cook-in-let and sits above the Anchor River. Your views of Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Augustine and Mt. Iliamna are spectacular along with the sunsets. The cottage has a full-size kitchen, along with all your cooking essentials. The half loft upstairs has 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed. There are room darkening curtain dividers around each of the beds for privacy, but not sound proof. The full-size bathroom, washer and dryer will make your stay more enjoyable. The cottage is your space alone, you share with NO-ONE ELSE. The main floor has laundry, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining. Upstairs is a half loft with curtains around each bed for privacy, but not sound proof. The back yard is fenced in with a bbq grill, and plenty of seating space.

Breathtaking view and comfy and cozy. Great outdoor space and soft linens. Well stocked kitchen with lots of silverware and dishes for larger families like ours, or groups. Boardgames and a plethora of books, my children especially enjoyed playing the turnstiles scrabble like the kind I used to play with growing up. Can’t say enough about the view! And only 20 minutes to Homer. Truly a gem.
It was pretty inside and we loved the comfortable furniture.
This place was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin is beautifully decorated and cozy and cute as anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and the hosts went above and beyond in that area. The view from the back porch is impeccable and we spent our evenings watching the sunset and even spotted some seaside off the coast. The area is extremely peaceful. The hosts were extremely accessible and friendly via text. I hope the hosts still rent the place out in the years to come as it is definitely a place I would love to rebook next time I’m in Alaska.
Beautiful place, wonderful view, great location & comfortable place for 4 single people to sleep!! We wanted to be close to the charters without being in Homer, they had everything you need to feel at home and they had plenty of freezer space for the Fish!!!
Kymber went above and beyond to help us during our stay. She responded immediately during a late night emergency, and helped us find a lost wallet after checkout. Beyond that, the cottage was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed. I wish we would have stayed longer and would definitely stay there again. Highest marks for both the hosts and the listing!

very quiet neighborhood, with good neighbors. Lots of little places to eat and light shopping. 20 min drive to Homer, 1 hr. drive from Soldotna. Launch your boat at the tractor launch 10 min drive, Deep Creek fishing 15 min drive. Very close to all your fishing needs or just relax.
Drive .8 miles on gravel road to cottage and park in front of cottage.
Garbage dump/transfer station is on South end of town if needed.

We love the Alaskan life! Mike has lived in Alaska for 41 plus years, I have lived in Alaska 20 years. We are pretty much stay at home type of people, but we do enjoy our hunting and fishing trips. We enjoy snowmaching in the winter with walks and ice fishing. During the summers, we raise our own pork chickens and turkeys.We grow our own vegetables all to go with the wild game and fish that we harvest. We love living the homestead/sufficient life style. We enjoy getting to know and talking to the people that stay at our B&B and listening to their story's and telling ours.
