Quiet, upmarket neighborhood in North London. Small, well stocked supermarket a few minutes walk away (Londis), larger supermarket a 5 minute bus ride away (Sainsbury's).
Many restaurants, cafes/coffee shops, pubs and bars and other shops in the area, as well as a number of parks and green spaces for walking.
The local area is quite safe, even at night. That said, as with all big cities, if you travel a little further afield it pays to be a little extra vigilant. Even though the vast majority of people you will meet will be friendly and helpful, sometimes this is not always the case, especially in the more touristy areas.

The local area is well served with transportation. It is a 2-3 minute walk from the apartment to Harringay - National Rail station, which is a 10-12 minute train ride to King's Cross/St. Pancras, and then another 5-10 minute ride to central London on the London Underground (Victoria Line).
It is also possible to walk to or from Finsbury Park underground station (10-15 minutes) but this is not recommended with heavy luggage. (Some maps suggest walking from Manor House underground station, but this is a little further away and not really recommended).
A shuttle bus service (number W5) that connects with the London Underground (Archway Station) stops a few metres from the apartment every 10 minutes or so. The same bus goes in the opposite direction to the nearest large local supermarket. There are other buses a short walk away that cover most of North London.
There are also night trains and night buses in London which run 24 hours and pass not too far from the apartment.
It is possible to buy an 'Oyster' card or paper tickets to travel around London, however, it is recommended and cheaper to use your contactless card (or phone) on trains and buses.
There is also free parking directly outside the property.
