Buffalo Home has that cabin-in-the woods feeling that makes you never want to leave! The cabin is equipped with everything you need to make your vacation stress-free. We are ideally located near Lake Texoma and the State Park (<2 miles) where you can take your family hiking, swimming, or fishing. Around the bend is Catfish Bay (3 miles) and Alberta Marina (5 miles) both offer boat ramps, marina supplies, and rentals of all kinds. High speed internet is available for guest use. Buffalo Home sits on 2 1/2 beautifully treed acres set back from the road. Larry the Longhorn and Buffy the Buffalo will let you know you have arrived. You will enter the back door into the kitchen with a spacious table for 8. There are two bedrooms with queen beds on the first floor with a laundry and bathroom facility as well. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes and quality cooking supplies to make meal time easy. A beautiful log stairwell leads up to a loft with a TV and game table. You will find cozy blankets in the ottoman upstairs to help you settle in for a good movie. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king and two twins and another bath (not ensuite). The jacuzzi tub can be enjoyed after a long day on the lake. The wrap around porch and chairs will allow you to sit outside and enjoy the treed acreage and wildlife that wanders about. The outbuilding has a covered area that is being transformed into an outside space even closer to nature. There is plenty of parking for a boat and lake toys near the cabin.

The Buffalo Home was clean, comfortable, and we had lots of room. Wonderful beds, bathrooms, and the kitchen area gave us a place to enjoy preparing food together. The location was perfect for lake fishing (only three miles from the marina where we met our fishing guide). It was very quiet and peaceful. The wrap around porch was great, it gave us a place to put all of our fishing gear out of the rain. Of all the Airbnb/VRBO homes we have stayed in, this one has to be at the top of our list. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
The boys had such a great time staying here and really enjoyed the home. It was close to everything they had planned and Patty was an awesome host. She went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of.
If you are looking for the perfect getaway with, or without children, this is the place! Room to spread out, but always within reach. Spacious, and absolutely Lovely! Excellent host. Patty's place was perfect. 3 kids ages 8-11 never got bored, tons of games and they found lots to do outside to keep themselves entertained. The beds were so comfortable. Water was nice and hot for showers. Kitchen was 🤌🏽 top tier, literally had everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean. Her place was decorated for spring/Easter, I loved it! Wild turkeys visited throughout the day, that was pretty cool! The wrap around porch <3. I definitely would love to come back.

The property is set on 2 1/2 acres which is bordered by ranches. No other homes are visible from the cabin. The property line is the back driveway so please stay on the driveway and toward the front of the cabin.
This cabin is 5-10 minutes from two different Marinas. West Bay Casino is 10 minutes away with an eatery. Chickasaw Golf Course is 15 minutes to the north and one of the best public courses in Oklahoma. Lake Texoma State Park and Catfish Bay have all the amenities for day on the lake. A parking pass is required when using the facilities at the Ben’s Joes swimming / hiking / fishing area. There is an app that can be downloaded to pay. There is a sign in the park with instructions on how to pay.
