It is right across the street from an awesome BBQ joint (pork nachos if you're into that sort of thing), 20 min walk to downtown, and the place was perfect. I was in town for 4 nights so having a space that felt relaxed at the end of a long day was super important to me. There were plenty of linens and even some extras that I didn't take note of in the original post (the steamer!!!). I would very happily stay again. I had colleagues stop by to check it out and everyone RAVED about how they wish they hadn't stayed in the hotels after seeing this place. The batteries were dead in one of the remotes but it wasn't anything that a swap from the remote I wasn't using couldn't fix. I don't find myself in Springfield often, but the next time I do, I will be keeping my fingers crossed this is available again!!!

Mulberry Inn was an amazing stay. Extremely cozy, peaceful and had everything we needed. If you are in town and looking for a place to stay at for MOORE Expo this is a great location to stay. We were only 10 minutes or so from the fairgrounds. We will be back!

Super cute place! We love history and charm and it was done so beautifully. There was a strong musty smell when first there but I think it might just need a dehumidifier and there was a piece of artwork that was older and vintage and it probably contributed to it. The stairs are not going to be for everyone I will say that but it was super cozy loft area and just what we needed for the kitchen part. Overall it was super clean and cozy and perfect for the 2 of us.

Really Cool Place, was visiting Springfield for my wife’s Birthday. Staying in a historic building converted to a living unit. We loved the design and decoration, especially the stairs! However, first impressions are everything. Arrived to the back patio/entrance and it was piled full of leaves. Sure would have been nice to enjoyed the patio with the nice weather, but it was a mess. Then upon entering the place had a very damp smell. Nothing seemed wet but it smelled. In the pictures it looks like a dehumidifier was once in the unit. But it was not there when we were. There was also dust all over the counter/bar. All three bad experiences upon our arrival. I just really wished attention to details was better with cleaning up patio, cleaning the bar, and the damp smell! I paid a cleaning fee but didn’t get a clean place myself. I sent a picture of patio to host and she never responded. So I knew then nothing would be addressed. Better luck to the next guest.
