It is situated on a secluded 2-1/2 ac wooded site. A retreat in the city with plenty of area for outdoor activities. Adjacent to Medina's South Town District. Just four blocks south of the Historic Medina Square and its restaurants, bars, coffee shops, specialty shops & events. A quality house with a dedicated work space, entertainment center, wet bar, game table, 4 smart TVs & Wifi. Private areas for you & yours and common spaces for your entire group. Spend time outdoors. Relax on the porches, patios & hammocks. Play bean bag, throw the football & baseball around, play kickball, wiffle ball, etc. There's ample area outside for all this and more.

Alan, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Cottage on the Hill"! What a lovely place and we felt right at home. Everything was terrific...the home & location was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, well maintained and clean. It was wonderful to be so close to restaurants, stores, etc. (walkable &/or short drive). Alan's descriptions and instructions were accurate & clear...he is a responsive & thoughtful host. When our travel plans take us back to this area, we would look forward to staying here again. Lovely home. Adequate for our needs. Lots of quiet spaces inside and out. Loved the wildlife entertainment - deer, nesting geese, cardinals, etc. Walking distance to downtown with fun shops and great restaurants! Wonderful lounging in the hammock to watch the Total Solar Eclipse!
We enjoyed our stay at Cottage on the hill very much. The house was very clean and cozy, located by a quiet pond. It is located within walking distance of the downtown square which has a great selection of restaurants and shops. Alan was very responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay.
Extremely clean place to stay. Alan communicated very promptly. The property and house are lovely and continently located to town and also our relatives. I thought it was a little pricey for Medina. It was the first time I’d ever been charged for adding two people to stay (there were six people total). Other than that it was definitely a five-star experience.

The neighborhood includes properties in and adjacent to Medina's South Town District a few blocks south of the Medina Public Square. Between "Cottage on the Hill" and Public Square in the South Town District is the converted Farmer's Exchange building. Definitely worth a look!
From this location you can walk to many food & drink establishments, coffee houses and specialty shops on and around Medina's Public Square. It's just 4 blocks away! Most local events are held on or close to the Square as well.
If you prefer to drive, open parking near the Square is free and limited to three hours in some spaces. There are also two parking garages within one block of the Square.
Interstate 71 is 4 miles east on SR 18 and Interstate 76/224 is 6 miles south on SR 3. Go north on I-71 and you'll find Cleveland. Head east on I-76/224 to Akron & Canton. You can visit many attractions. To name a couple, there's the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland for musical souls - or the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
