The hobbit house is furnished with a queen size bed, fireplace and kitchen space. The kitchen space is small but includes a gas camp stove, kitchenware and potable water dispenser. The house sleeps two but additional guests are welcome to campout in the glade. Just a few yards away from the hobbit house is the toilet and a sink.

My partner and I had a fabulous time at Alex’s place. We were greeted by a kind note and fresh apples from their tree. One of the highlights from our stay was a resident hummingbird who hung around and didn’t seem to be people shy at all!
Everything you see is what you exactly what you get we enjoyed our time here so much seen so much wild life and there’s beautiful flowers every direction ! We packed a portable battery operated shower and used the water from the well next to the barn which was amazing thank you again Alex !! Would stay again
We loved this little hobbit house! Brought the family along to camp in the front—we had a good time exploring the area. Silver Lake is a great spot to swim nearby. Our host was very accommodating and the place was very clean and welcoming.
Absolutely beautiful, so cozy and cute. The plants and decor really made it feel like a magical little hobbit hole. I think there was a fresh bouquet of flowers on the wall. Very intentional, clear instructions for everything. The trip was great and my partner and our dogs had the best time. 10/10 recommend.
Great place to relax and get in touch with your inner hobbit. The Glade is private and peaceful. The hobbit house was very clean and cozy. We left feeling well rested and refreshed.

The glade is nestled quietly at the edge of the forest. It is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to slow down and live close to nature. Stepping out the door, the ocean is only 30 minutes drive west and the mountains are even closer. The Mt. Baker Wilderness with its stunning peaks, waterfalls and wildlife is only a short drive east. During your stay, be sure to meet the family of deer who are so often found grazing in the field. No doubt they too would be interested in a cup of tea and second breakfast at the hobbit house. Anyone visiting the glade will find their feet walking new trails and wondering how they got so pleasantly lost in paradise. The glade is located on a 5 acre property that also has a log cabin.
