My wife and I enjoyed five days in Tavira,, the property was very central, easy to walk to restaurants and around Tavira itself. We rented ebikes for a couple of days and really enjoyed cycling in the hills and around the town. David was great, communication was really easy. The property was fine for our stay, we arrived in the evening, so a welcome pack would have saved us a late night supermarket trip for bottled water, and breakfast, tea and coffee etc. The house is on a main road which can be busy and noisy during the day but is silent overnight. There is no view from the front of the house, but the back patio area is small and useful. We were only in the property to sleep, it worked really well for us for a base to explore Tavira.

Optima habitação para férias. Precisa-se levar toalhas. As disponibilizadas são poucas, somente uma de rosto e um toalhão de banho. Habitação muito espaçosa, bem ventilada e bom sofá.

We loved our stay in the house and in Tavira. Megan and David have really put a touch touch on the whole process and stay, they are incredibly responsive, helpful and gave us a tour of the local area with plenty recommendations when we arrived. The house itself is beautiful, the outside shower is really unique and perfect for the hot days we spent there. The location was ideal for exploring Tavira with everything at a walking distance, including the ferry to the local beach. Would highly recommend!

David was a wonderful host - we arranged an airport transfer with him and he was extremely kind and chatty with helpful suggestions about what to do/where to go. He’d thoughtfully brought empty shopping bags with him and made a stop at the shop for us which was brilliant as we hadn’t hired a car. The property itself was very well located and we could easily walk to the ferry/restaurants etc. Uber and Bolt operate too so a cab is never far away. The outside shower is a lovely touch and the courtyard is very private with the umbrella up. Would really recommend this property.
