Frodo's Folly by StayStaycations For the sleeping arrangements, upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms, Bedroom 1 contains a super king bed. Bedroom 2 contains two single beds which can be made into a king size bed. Bedroom 3 contains a single bed. The living area also contains a sofa bed. The Bedding is provided for this and is stored under the stairs. There is a shower room with toilet and this property also features a traditional Welsh outside toilet, also known as a "ty bach" in Welsh or an "outhouse," Downstairs are two reception rooms, each with a comfortable sofa and smart TV. For those traveling for work there is a laptop working space with chair underneath the stairs by kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen contains everything you could need for dining in. including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer (located in outside building), an air fryer and that all important Tassimo coffee machine! There is ample space for you to enjoy your meals including a kitchen dining table and breakfast bar. Outside you will find a beautiful self contained patio garden which contains furniture including a table, chairs and parasol for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There is a large, secure building you can access through the rear lane or garden which you are welcome to use for storage of bikes, paddleboards and surf boards. We came to stay and even extended our time here!! We have family in port talbot as we are from the uk so came to stay the house was so homely and very clean, it had all the essentials and very close to the beach and shops ect, we hope to come back in the summer 5*
I don't usually get to stay in places like this as I'm on my own and it's not cost-effective, but there was an offer on with this and I'm very pleased that I tried it out. Big, spacious with lots of unusual touches. My partner loved the little nook. I found her a couple of times just sitting in there reading! The decor and colourful internal brickwork was pretty unique. But all the important bits were there too. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were all first class.
This was a lovely stay for my friends and I. The pictures actually do not do the property justice! It was spacious, clean and felt like a real home. Sarah was helpful in responding to messages and also flexible with early check-in which was much appreciated. Overall a really lovely house and would certainly stay again if our travels brought us back!
Had a lovely few nights in this beautiful property! the pictures really didn't do it justice! very well decorated and cosy! especially enjoyed the packets of haribo in each room lol
Sarah’s place was spotless and everything seemed new or nearly new and had all the amenities one could need. The master bed (we only used one bedroom) was super comfortable and after a transatlantic flight, a difficult trip through London and a delayed train from Paddington, it was just the ticket. I slept for 12 hours.
