If you are looking for “off the beaten path,” this is it! Chorro Ecolodge is small and intimate, offering four luxury safari-style tents accommodating up to 20 people. Enjoy spectacular rainforest and river views, excellent birding, nature hikes, yoga, waterfalls & immense natural beauty. You will be ‘glamping’ in style in one of our thoughtfully appointed luxury safari-style tents. Our tents feature electricity with ample outlets, ceiling fans, and deliciously comfortable beds and linens. Each tent also has a private bathroom just steps away, equipped with hot water open-air yet private showers, eco-friendly sawdust compostable toilets, and biodegradable bath products. The town of Esquipulas is located 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio/Quepos into the rainforest mountains alongside the Naranjo River. The river and waterfall are just a few minutes walk down a trail from your tent. Esquipulas has just a few local families and is very quiet and safe. Mostly you will hear the birds singing and the sounds of the river flowing by.
It is best to have a car to arrive at Chorro Ecolodge. 4x4 is not necessary but the last 3.5 km of road are gravel. We are very easy to find and there is only one slight turn you make when driving from Quepos. We can also arrange transport for you, just let us know!
