Ferryville · 整套小木屋 · 2室3床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Aspenshire Cabin: a nod to English Charm
Aspenshire Cabin is nestled in a valley overlooking a private stream. The Driftless Region is known for its rolling hills and beautiful landscapes. This newly remodeled cabin stands in striking contrast to the woods surrounding it. Inspired by the cozy + sophisticated vibes of Old English Charm, a nod to this design style is evident throughout. Guests are welcomed into a space curated for rest and relaxation, whether through a quiet retreat for the arts or a getaway with family and friends. During your stay, the serene landscapes of rolling hills, bubbling brooks and wildlife invite you to experience nature while exploring the 10 acres of land or sitting in the hot tub in the fresh air. There is an outdoor fire pit, screened-in porch, and an indoor gas fireplace to make this your dream retreat. Experience nature and simple living without foregoing all the amenities. The cabin is located close to the scenic Mississippi River where you can fish, enjoy water sports, and watch spectacular sunsets. Nearby is the Rush Creek State Nature Preserve and also the Villa Louis in historic Prairie Du Chien. During wintertime, enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Our Welcome Book is full of tips and recommendations for your stay in the Driftless Area. The Space: You will have access to the entire log cabin, which is located in Ferryville, WI. There is a living room and kitchen/dining area on the main floor, as well as a large bathroom with a shower. There is a washer and dryer unit in the closet of the bathroom. The upstairs loft is divided into two sides. The West side is furnished with a queen bed, sitting chair and writing desk and overlooks the Aspen grove from the large A-Frame window. The East side has two twin beds, with another large A-Frame window. We aim to provide a luxurious experience without foregoing sustainable measures. With this in mind, all the mattresses in Aspenshire Cabin are Saatva luxury mattresses, made with eco-responsible materials. We provide organic cotton linens for the bed sheets and bath towels. Intentional design choices were made such that many items were sourced secondhand- like the beautiful Vintage Chesterfield couch, the antique writing desk from Normandy, France and the wall art throughout- as well as artisan made products- like the ceramic dinnerware and handblown glassware for the kitchen. Additionally, off the main living space is the entry to the screened in porch where you will find a hot tub and another dining space with table and chairs. The cabin is fully furnished and offers Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, a small DVD + board game collection, a Crosley record player (don’t forget your vinyls) and a landline (if you choose to use!) to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. We also offer a car charging port behind the cabin for you to pay per charge.
The owners have made it easy to be charmed by their adorable modern cabin and they've taken great care to maximize the beautiful view and landscape. We've been soaking in the region here and really appreciate being able to do that at this Driftless Dwelling...
everything was cozy. a perfect kitchen for those who love to cook! heated bathroom floor was such a nice surprise. best weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. the whole place was perfectly organized and well accommodated.
So immaculate! Eric’s attention to detail was incredible. Curating a home away from home is hard to do but this AirBNB achieved that in so many ways. Would love to come back anytime.
This home was so perfect for our mother/daughter getaway. The kitchen was so perfect and fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is private and such beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Eric went out of his way to communicate with me, which was so nice! It was beautiful to wake up to our first snowfall of the year at the cabin! Our pup really enjoyed her stay there too! Thank you Eric for sharing your place with us!
The property is secluded, quiet and private and just a 5-minute drive from the scenic Mississippi River. Nearby, you'll also find the Rush Creek Nature Preserve and the small river towns of Ferryville, De Soto, and Lansing (Iowa).
Within 30 minutes, you can reach the charming community of Viroqua, where you'll find a thriving co-op, a specialty coffee shop and a number of farm-to-table dining options.
A 45-minute drive north along the Mississippi River will lead you to the city of La Crosse.
This is a very rural and remote setting. All backroads are low traffic.
自我介绍
How our business started... In 1994, Eric started a small "part time" lawn mowing business for extra money that would eventually turn into much more and a full time career and a family owned company. In 1998, we were asked to manage a Vacation Home and being totally truthful... we had no idea of what we were doing and how fast we would learn. After having a terrible experience Renting a Vacation Rental in Northern Wis. I knew what my future would hold in the Property Management business. It was 3 simple things. 1) Be True and Honest to your Guests, 2) Treat our Guests the way I personally would want to be treated 3) Provide 5-star "Clean" accommodations and be better then the rest! After 20 plus years, KPS has several repeat guests and so many friendships have been made. Till this day we still hold true to our 3-step system. We hope someday you can come enjoy one of our vacation homes or cabins. We are very proud of our Vacation Properties and the business we have created.
