The room looked like the photos listed although it is slightly cramped especially if you have large luggage. In terms of style and cleanliness, this is one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed at. The management team were very prompt in their responses which were helpful. The only downsides were the hot water not lasting more than 3 minutes and it was unfortunate that during our stay, there was ongoing renovation works which was very bothersome. If you are late riser, then this will be an issue as the works start from 8am till about 4-5pm. It is so noisy you cannot watch tv, read or sleep in peace. Just when we thought we could have a quiet respite from the Old Quarter during the day. Overall, if not for the 2 shortcomings, we would have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Harry’s residence was like a really nice home away home. It was spotlessly clean and have washer and dryer with detergent in the basement. All the staff were kind. I’d definitely come back.

I stayed at Harry’s residence for the end of my VN trip. The pros are that the pictures are accurate and the facilities are clean and well appointed. The bed is also comfortable. The location is also decent but may require some walking to the old quarter. I probably would have given this place a 4 or 5 star rating except I had encountered a very disturbing and disappointing situation. I was sleeping and someone entered my room despite me having a “do not disturb sign.” I do not know who it was since I was in bed. When the door was knocked, I also told them that the room was occupied. But they entered anyway! I had to yell that the room was occupied after they had entered before they left my room. What if I was doing something else besides sleeping? What if I was showering? What if I was female? Frankly, they should have at least called me before entering. It could have been an unsafe situation.

I stayed at Harry’s during my first 5 nights in Hanoi. I needed one night of accommodation on my last 14th night in Vietnam after travelling the south, I didn’t even think twice about staying with Harry’s again and I am so glad they had availability last minute. This place is truly the best. Comfort, cleanliness, modern. They were able to arrange a car to take me to the airport at 6am very last minute. They’re the best! I am so glad I started and ended my trip in Vietnam here.
