Absolute highlight of our stay in Montenegro. Can't recommend this place enough. Nikola is incredibly hospitable, and was a great host. Excited to come back!

We loved our stay at Nikola’s property. Nikola was very responsive and helpful. We wanted a secluded stay and that’s what we had, kayaking on the river and to the nearby lake. The property is fantastic for bird watching and there is a lovely restaurant just across the river (I understand this is only open during summer) . Would stay again.

Nikola was an incredibly responsive and hospitable host, and tried his best to make us feel at home in the property. The property itself was amazing, and we could not have ended the trip better than by staying beside Lake Skadar. We enjoyed using the kayaks and had a great time watching the wildlife! The cash-only restaurant opposite sells fresh fish from the lake, and the staff were lovely and friendly. One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at!

A place you can only reach by boat, with amazing views across the water/fields and free kayaks to explore the water-lily and bird (so many kingfishers!) filled river and a big lake. It has a sort of glamping feel (basic kitchen, shower and taps with lake water) that comes recommended to nature-lovers wanting to get away from it all (although fast internet is still available if you need it). Deep-fried local fish restaurant, a favorite swimming spot at the weekends for daytrippers from Podgorica, literally across the river, so not completely isolated. Come to unwind, see birds/wild horses/cows, kayak and interact with small fishes that will nibble on your toes. All with a SUPER friendly and always-reachable host Nikola, who offered a very fair price to pick us up from the airport, wait for us at a supermarket, and volunteered to register us as tourists. We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in het huis van Nikola. Perfect voor als je echt even een paar nachten in de natuur wilt leven. Nikola heeft voor het perfecte vervoer gezorgd richting het huisje en we hebben daar een heerlijke tijd gehad. Echt een aanrader en tip om er meerdere nachten te blijven
