This semi off grid tiny A-Frame is the sweetest little getaway nestled among a hollow of oak trees, the perfect little woodland oasis! A stone’s throw away from the Kennebec and Eastern Rivers and many great hikes close by. It’s also close to the best little midcoast towns with fabulous restaurants and shopping. 15 minutes to scenic Route 1 + Maine’s beautiful coast. 45 minutes to Portland and the white sandy beaches of Popham and Pemaquid. The inside of this semi off grid cabin (electricity but no running water) has a full sized bed, two folding tables (one under the bed), two folding chairs and a bookshelf with all of the essentials. Since there is NO RUNNING WATER you will be provided with a 2.5 gallon jug of drinking water plus a full water dispenser inside the cabin. The outside offers a smokeless fire pit to be used responsibly, a table and two chairs, screened in kitchen/dining area with propane cooking stove and a comfortable outhouse. There are solar string lights so you can enjoy the outside at night (the string lights come on automatically once it gets dark outside). Lack of sun on cloudy days might limit the brightness of the solar lights. There is another tiny cabin on the property for other guests although completely separate and private from the A-frame. Both cabins have access to the community outdoor shower on the property. The shower is located right behind the big black garage. When you drive in you’ll see the sign to your left painted on the garage “shower” with an arrow. Please be mindful and limit showers to under 10 minutes and follow instructions carefully.
