Casa del Castello is a wide and delightful, recently renovated apartment in an ancient building in the historic center of Montecchio. Immersed in the small and ancient streets rich in history and culture, the accommodation enjoys a wonderful view of the main square of the village. The interior is modern and welcoming, renovated maintaining the characteristic features of the original era to which all the comforts of the modern era have been added. Casa del Castello will be your favorite place. Entering from the door of the building, you go up a flight of stairs to arrive at the entrance door of Casa del Castello. Opening the door you will find yourself in front of the living area with sofa, dining table with chairs and fully equipped kitchenette. The master bedroom and a bathroom are located on this floor. Going down the wooden staircase you reach the lower floor where a relaxation/study area has been set up with a sofa and desks, which can be used as a smart working station. Continuing we arrive at the triple bedroom (three single beds) and the adjoining bathroom.

La casa si trova all'interno delle mura di uno dei più bei borghi dell'Umbria. Regna il silenzio. L'abitazione è confortevole e dotata di tutto quanto può servire ad una famiglia numerosa (doppio bagno, scrivanie per studiare). La pulizia è impeccabile. Siamo stati accolti dal signor Marino che si è dimostrata una persona davvero disponibile e premurosa e ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire come a casa. Esperienza super positiva!
Très satisfaite du logement qui est parfaitement conforme aux photos. Spacieux, très bien équipé, et dans le cœur typique de la ville, c’est un appartement charmant. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce lieu et le recommandons fortement.
this was our 4th and last stay on our 12 day trip to umbria, and our favorite one. just right for our family of 5, with kitchen and common area and parents bedroom and bath on the top floor, and rooms and bath for the kids 9ours are 18 and up) downstairs. For those looking for a quiet retreat, this is perfect. Marino was a great host, super helpful and unobstrusive. When I mentioned that the cutting board was a bit small he showed up within minutes with a new one he built just for us (he's a carpenter). The apartment was barefoot-inviting clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, the village is tiny and friendly and has everything you might need (groceries, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, restaurant, coffeeshop) a short walk away. Valentina was also great, there when we needed her. thank you Montecchio, Marino and Valentina.
wir waren zu 4 in der schönen Ferienwohnung,mit einem tollen Ausblick. Ein paar kleine Schüsseln für Müsli wären noch toll gewesen aber ansonsten war alle vorhanden.Wir können diese schöne Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen.

Montecchio is a small and charming town surrounded of the green hills of Umbria. All services are available within walking distance of your accommodation. Two bars, a restaurant, a pizzeria, two supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher, a tobacconist, a pharmacy, a post office and other small businesses. Anything you need is close at hand.
For any doubts, ask your host or any other citizen for information, everyone will be happy to answer your requests!
The best solution for getting around the area is the car, you can visit the surrounding villages and the main points of interest in green Umbria. Instead, if you prefer peace and relaxation, once you arrive you can forget about it, you will have everything you need at your disposal. The parking spaces are all free and have good availability.
