Welcome to Sunslice Surf House, a guesthouse located directly on the beautiful beach of El Tránsito, with the surf break right in our backyard! The property is divided into two main buildings and has plenty of outdoor space. There are 7 rooms to rent and various shared areas, including a co-working space, chilling nooks, a pool, a shared kitchen and a beachfront deck. Sunslice is a place to embrace a balanced lifestyle fueled by human connection, fun waves, and the simple things. Room 8 is a private double room located downstairs in the second building, with a private bathroom. The room also has a desk for remote workers who may need a quiet space for online meetings. We also have a dedicated co-working space, but we understand the importance of having your own workspace. Room 8 is located a bit further from the pool area and other shared spaces, providing a peaceful atmosphere. Whether you are planning a short visit or a longer co-living experience, we can’t wait to meet you and share the Sunslice lifestyle with you!

J’ai adoré mon séjour chez Delphine et Simone. Elles sont des hôtes vraiment accueillantes et nous font rapidement sentir comme faisant partie de la famille. El Tránsito est une belle découverte pour des vacances: plage tranquille, mixe de restaurants de cuisine locale et américaine, accessible pour aller visiter la ville de Leon et son volcan le Cero Negro. Je pense déjà à y retourner. Merci les filles !
We had a lovely stay at Sunslice, a warmly atmosphere. The property is right at the beach in front of a beachbreak and has everything you need for your surftrip. The owners Delphine and Simone are very kind and help you out with everything you need to make your whishes come true.

Sunslice Surf House is not just a place to stay in El Transito, it's a blissful beach-side experience. Simone and Delphine are ducks on water - while their demeanour is warm, laid-back and friendly - they work very hard under the surface to keep the property clean, comfortable and inclusive for all their guests. Sunslice exceeded all my expectations: convenient surf rentals, responsive and on-the-ball hosts, a buzzing and fun social group, and a picturesque slice of life that is both otherworldly and homey. Thank you Simone and Delphine!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Delphine et Simonne. L’accueil est très chaleureux, c’est comme si on arrivait chez des amis. C’est très convivial. On nous a pris en charge dès notre arrivée pour nous faire visiter les lieux. L’hostel est situé directement sur le bord de la plage et la vue est magnifique, et le coucher de soleil …sublime. On nous a bien expliqué les choses à faire, les endroits où manger. On a un coin pour relaxer, il y a un endroit pour faire du télétravail donc l’internet est super rapide. On a une belle cuisine avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se faire à manger sinon il y a une pizzeria à côté et un café super chouette. Notre chambre était très bien

El Tránsito is a charming beach town located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua, situated approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Managua International Airport and 1 hour from León. The local community is welcoming and hospitable, in and out of the water.
The beach is stunning, with dark sand, consistent waves, and natural tide pools. There’s a beach break steps from the Sunslice and two point breaks that are no more than a 5 minute walk away, as well as many other world-class point breaks that are accessible by boat. The surf is suitable for all levels, depending on the swell.
In town, there are three local restaurants (comedors) that serve comida tipica (traditional food), two cafes that are open for breakfast or lunch that serve international cuisine, two local bars, and a beach bar for those seeking a little party. Additionally, there are two little tiendas (grocery stores) that offer the basics for cooking. If you are staying long-term, we make trips to León to buy groceries and you are welcome to join us!
In El Tránsito, everything is within walking distance. You can also get around easily by car or moto, although the streets are not paved. If you have a vehicle, there are a few parking spaces available on the property.
