This place over-delivered on expectations. We'd booked early for solar eclipse viewing in April 2024 and were primarily interested in a clean place to stay that didn't cost an arm and a leg. To be fair, solar eclipse premium pricing was in effect but by comparison, this place was cost effective. We were pleasantly surprised to the extent that Landy and our hosts went out of their way to make our stay an experience and not just "a bed for the night." Music, activities for our kids, even a welcome package. These were great. On the nuts and bolts side, the room was basic but very good. Large beds, new amenities, and everything was in great condition. There were a couple of hiccups: the table lamps (obviously new) lacked light bulbs. And it would have been nice to have a spatula for the electric griddle. But those were minor inconveniences rather than show-stoppers. The pond and the disc-golf course were great places to walk and relax.
