Five-star all the way! Russ's place is a fantastic place to stay if you're around Dale Hollow: right up the hill from Sunset Marina, spotless and super well-stocked inside and out, and a great value. If/when my group is ever back in Byrdstown, I'm looking up Russ's place first. Thanks for the great stay!

Great house and location! The house was spacious and clean. We are in Byrdstown several times a year and will definitely be staying again.

place was super clean and comfortable. We had one issue where someone had previously logged out of TV account but they came right over and fixed it. they were so available. really cute decorating. the beds were very comfortable. had everything we needed would definitely stay again.

We were very impressed with the home and all the amenities offered. Plenty of parking, a well-stocked kitchen, and flexibility at check-in. We ran out of gas in the grill the first night and Russ was over early the next day to refill that tank for us. The house truly only comfortably sleeps seven adults – that would be our only “complaint“. He was clear in his listing that it is three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it is on us for not clarifying how eight adults could comfortably sleep there. We made it work and we will be back due to its great location, friendly proactive local host, and the good memories made there.
