Our stay at Chatel Burja exceeded all expectations. It's a perfect ski-in, ski-out place. The hosts of the lodge were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, fulfilling every request we had. The food was excellent, and there was no problem for them to prepare a special meal just for me as a vegetarian. They even added vegan options at breakfast. They are vegetarian and vegan-friendly. Overall, the service was above average, also offering delightful choices like freshly squeezed juice for mimosa at breakfast. The ambiance was incredibly cozy and comfortable, giving off a "you are at home" vibe. It's very pet-friendly too. In the evenings, you can enjoy socializing in the charming room by the wood-burning stove with a superb wine selection and even cocktails. And there is an extra bonus of a sauna in the accommodation that offers you a relaxing evening after a day of snowboarding or hiking. We look forward to returning, not only in winter but also in summer. We miss it already. 🤗

We were very warmly welcomed at the chalet, with drinks and nibbles. We had a little room with basic facilities and small balcony with views of the mountains (just!). There was no kitchen however you can eat breakfast and a set dinner at the chalet. The water is not drinkable and has to be purchased in bottles at the chalet. In summer the ski area has a few nice trails to walk and you can use the chair lift for free, once paid for the cable car ride up to the resort (around €30 return). Also the two nice friendly cats who made it extra homely!

great place + great people (greetings to Roco ;) = great experience just the listing /description of the facility shall be adjusted to prevent confusion - e.g. no kitchen for guests (but everyone can be served all day meals for reasonable price) - thus, bringing your own stuff is rather wasted energy (and there is also no fridge dedicated to guests) ... however, all handled nicely on spot, will be happy to come back again ;)

Most beautiful location for a hotel on top of a mountain! We expected that we could do a hike up to the hotel but this turned out to be closed for the whole year. Other than that, great stay!

Rifugio di montagna caratteristico e accogliente, gli host molto simpatici e disponibili, ho chiesto la cena vegetariana e non hanno avuto problemi, pasti ricchi e buoni, ottimo come punto di partenza per trekking. Consigliatissimo
