自我介绍

I was born in Puglia, so were my parents and all my grandparents. I enjoy traveling as often as I can and enjoy meeting other travelers of all cultures. I love the nature, traditions and history of Puglia. I'm Professional Nature and Interpretive Guide and I am passionate about the history of the great Apulian "footpaths". I design and lead "experiences" related to the territory and the Apulian style of preparing tasty local dishes. Both my family and I love to receive friends and acquaintances and share the spaces of our villa with them, especially the swimming pool, the barbecue, the old wood-burning oven, the patio, the organic vegetable garden and the whole garden. Whenever I can, I like to cook and prepare typical Apulian dishes, especially with products from my organic garden that I personally take care of in the same villa where we live. Our house has many more rooms than we need for our daily needs, so we have chosen to rent out the excess rooms (for tourism and for short periods) and we are happy to share some common areas which are freely accessible to our tenants and guests. Our neighborhood is quiet and the whole villa is fenced. The large garden (including the organic vegetable garden), the large swimming pool and the large house keep intact the original architectural project, consistent with the Italian taste of the early 70s. We live in the same villa all year round (not just in the summer) and for a few years an affectionate cat named "Kitty" has joined us. It's not an original name but she was very small and scared when we found her abandoned on the street and we immediately started calling her that. Kitty is used to being exclusively in the garden and never enters the house, from time to time other cats from the neighborhood come to visit her and play with her. I design "experiences" about Apulian style of processing tasty local products. Sono nato in Puglia, così i miei genitori e tutti i miei nonni. Viaggio volentieri tutte le volte che posso e mi piace incontrare altri viaggiatori di tutte le culture. Amo la natura, le tradizioni e la storia della Puglia. Sono Guida Ambientale Escursionistica Professionista e mi appassiona la storia dei “Cammini” di Puglia. Progetto e guido “esperienze” legate al territorio e allo stile pugliese di preparare i gustosi cibi locali. Sia io che la mia famiglia amiamo ricevere amici e conoscenti e condividere con loro gli spazi della nostra villa, soprattutto la piscina, il barbecue, l’antico forno a legna, il patio, l’orto biologico e tutto il giardino. Quando posso mi piace cucinare e preparare i piatti tipici pugliesi, soprattutto con i prodotti del mio orto biologico che curo personalmente nella stessa villa in cui abitiamo. La nostra casa ha molte più stanze di quelle necessarie alle esigenze nostre quotidiane, così abbiamo scelto di affittare le stanze eccedenti (per turismo e per brevi periodi) e siamo felici di condividere alcune zone comuni che appunto sono accessibili liberamente ai nostri inquilini e ospiti. Il nostro quartiere è tranquillo e tutta la villa è recintata. Il grande giardino (incluso l'orto biologico), la grande piscina e la grande casa conservano intatto il progetto architettonico originario, coerente con il gusto italiano dei primi anni '70. Abitiamo tutto l'anno nella stessa villa (non solo d’estate) e da qualche anno si è aggiunta a noi una affettuosa gattina di nome “Kitty”. Non è un nome originale ma era davvero molto piccola e impaurita quando l’abbiamo trovata abbandonata per strada e abbiamo subito iniziato a chiamarla così. Kitty è abituata a stare esclusivamente in giardino e non entra mai in casa, di tanto in tanto altri gatti del vicinato vengono a farle visita e a giocare con lei. Progetto "esperienze" basate sullo stile pugliese di trasformazione dei gustosi prodotti locali.
