Precioso paraje, vistas impresionantes huyendo del turismo convencional.. Casa muy cómoda y gran trato de Branko, el anfitrión. Si podemos volveremos, y así de paso vemos a Branko y vemos que tal le va.

We had a lovely few days in El Risco - the cottage is beautiful, with wonderful views from both the pool area and the patio. The inside is very well furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, a gorgeous bathroom, and comfortable beds. We didn't have a car, so were reliant on the buses and a 10 minute walk uphill to the house from the stop - there are only four buses per day, but they are reliable and cheap, so with a bit of planning it is possible to stay here without a car. There are well stocked supermarkets in Puerto de las Nieves (which also has a lovely beach, nice restaurants, and some tidal pools for swimming) and in San Nicolas, both of which are a 20-30 minute bus ride away, and both of which have bus connections for the rest of the island. Highly recommended, we would happily stay here again.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Branko begrüßt und herumgeführt. Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm. In dem Häuschen ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir hatten uns mehr erwartet, da der Preis doch sehr gehobenen ist. Für ein freistehendes Haus in der Toskana oder an der Côte d'Azur haben wir um einiges weniger bezahlt.

Great host, really helpful and freindly, Beautifully renovated old farm in a peaceful valley off the beaten track. Lovely decor, bathroom, kitchen and furnishings, lots of outside space with pool, great for walks with a local bar within easy walking distance downhill...and a bit of a stiff climb back, just take it slowly. Other places, both North and South are not too far away, though local roads are very windy in places, you will need a car, as busses are infrequent. We loved our stay, and will miss the cats, and the mountains and a lot else besides.

We had an idyllic holiday and the house had everything we could possibly need - stunning landscape surrounding us and super peaceful. Having stayed in a lot of airbnbs I’d say this was one of the best equipped kitchen - as we were doing lots of cooking this was much appreciated. 20 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the bus stop where you get the 101 to Agaete and Galdar. Ideal spot if you are into your cycling. The pool was very welcome to jump into after walking up the hill through El Risco! Our toddler had a great holiday and appreciated the toys provided to play with. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
