Great location for a private getaway. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Book your horse back riding early as it was full during our open time. Really wanted to explore more of the property hiking and on horse back rides but had too busy of an agenda. We will be back!

Place was amazing! Way bigger than in the pictures. Checkin was easy and it had all the amenities needed for a good trip, would highly reccomend!

I wish I could add a photo to portray the joy we experienced while visiting Erik’s Ranch. We had a family reunion and had a bedroom and bathroom for each household. It was wonderful! I would recommend eating dinner at home base for two nights; one in the formal dining room and one dinner on the the deck with the mountains in the background. As a bonus, the kitchen has a table big enough to host breakfast! Sharing meals makes any family stay feel like we are all together again at home; my greatest joy. We were lucky enough to get the Master Bedroom; we felt like royalty! Take the hikes that Erik’s offers. It is wonderful to have the residents share their knowledge. Tipping your guides elicits big smiles; worth every penny! The greatest moment at Erik’s is when my daughter’s boyfriend surprised us when he got down on his knee and proposed as we were taking a family photo! This is a mother’s dream come true; to be able to hug my daughter on such a momentous moment. This was the best vacation ever in Montana! I hope every person staying here experiences the same precious moments that will make us smile forever!

The Lodge is a wonderful place to relax, take in the beautiful views down the valley, and to spread out in a very comfortable environment. We were a family of 6 people and everyone had plenty of space. The house has a few different spots for hanging out, playing pool, board games, and generally relaxing after a day of other activities like fishing or Yellowstone. The team on site did a wonderful job of guiding us through horse back riding and hiking. The home office staff were great in helping us coordinate both on site and off site activities. We highly recommend it!
