Justin's place worked really well for my group (3 friends [grown women over 40] visiting a friend who lives in St. Louis). We all loved having separate bedrooms and a full kitchen. The place was clean. Although there is no designated parking there is plenty of street parking available. The kitchen is large enough to cook a meal comfortably. A couple of minor things that are not a deal breaker: - the tub didn't have a tub mat and some body washes make the tub floor very slippery, - the living room space could have been utilized better, for a place that could house 6 people the furniture in the living room only accommodates 3-4 people max, - the double bed in the second bedroom off the hallway from kitchen is a little firm some people might not like it (the other 2 beds are so comfy), - the bedroom off the living room could use a small lamp, - stocking the kitchen with things like water, coffee, creamer, sugar/sweetener would be nice as well as an additional medium sized skillet.

This apartment was very comfortable and clean, and in a convenient location for us. The neighborhood is a little scruffy, but quiet, and very close to restaurants and cafes on Delmar and to gorgeous neighborhoods to stroll just south of Delmar. It’s nicely furnished and well-equipped for pots, pans, utensils, etc. There aren’t a lot of kitchen extras supplied (e.g. no paper towels, no sponge, only salt and pepper in terms of spices or cooking basics), but plenty of k-cups! We had a minor snafu with the door-code at check in, but Justin responded very quickly and straightened it out immediately.

This place met our needs for our stay. The good stuff: clean with comfy beds, easy street parking, walkable to Delmar and a short drive to WashU, Justin was a very responsive host. Things to know before you book: this is an old walk-up building that has been renovated. The rest of the units seemed to be long-term rentals. The shower head is very low so something to consider if you are over 5’6”. Smells and sounds from other units will be noticeable in the living room and front bedroom.

The unit was a great location, comfortable beds and clean. Please note it is on the 3rd floor with steps up to the building as well so not for those who cannot carry their luggage up 3.5 flights of steps. We had an issue with a strong scent of marijuana entering our unit from the unit below us, but Justin was responsive and helped rectify the matter. For those planning to cook, note that there was no food/condiments in the house other than salt and pepper.
