Fox Corner Barn is located in the beautiful rural Cotswolds, but only 8 miles outside of Bath. The Barn is attached to our family home and is full of vintage and rustic charm. Overlooking the Wiltshire countryside it offers a respite from busy life, giving a sense of quiet, apart from the chatter from our resident ducks, geese, chickens, dogs & donkeys! Ideally located within a stone's throw of a myriad of things to do, it sits in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. We are unfortunately unable to offer accomodation to guests attending a wedding or an event at Euridge Manor. Fox Corner Barn is situated in an idylic rural setting, but Bath City Centre is only 20 mins away, Colerne village with its local amenities only 5 mins, Chippenham (M4 J17) with a direct train to London Paddington (1hr 20 mins) and Bristol (30 mins). With countless walks from the door and undisturbed nature and wildlife, it presents itself as a perfect country escape. Visit the famous Historical thermae spa town of Bath with all it has to offer. With a full seasonal programme of festivals and concerts, there's something for everyone to enjoy, from arts to music, thespians to food enthusiasts. We are also in an ideal location for all events and racing held at Castle Combe Circuit, and a base for events and concerts at Westonbirt Arboretum. And we are also ideally situated for the Badminton Horse Trials, being only 11 miles away. With its’ rural location in mind, your own transport is suggested as a necessity. Public transport is available but it's few and far between. Taxis again are available, but not readily. The accommodation provides an open plan sitting and dining area with a rustic kitchen and log burner. The kitchen has a combi oven/air fryer, an induction hob (with 2 rings), microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. And of course a Cafetiere with fresh coffee. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom One has a double bed, and Bedroom Two has two single Mango beds from Loaf, which can be configured in to a large double, two singles or just used as a dressing room. Both bedrooms boast unadulterated views of the open fields. The good sized bathroom has a bath with a shower. There is an enclosed garden for guest use with a bistro table and chairs. We have solar panels that in the summer months provide us with hot water and electricity. We also collect, in a large tank in the ground, rainwater, which flushes the loos and is used through the washing machine. Unfortunately due to livestock, and subsequently electric fences, we cannot accommodate young children (Under 12) and or dogs. Sadly, Fox Corner Barn is not suitable for wheelchair users or those who require accessible accommodation.
