This was our second trip to Iceland and we loved this property! 12 minutes to downtown Reykjavik, and yet you are in a real Icelandic residential neighborhood. Plenty of green space nearby for recreation, and surrounded by trees with views of the Kopavogur. Hlífs place was well equipped and we utilized the kitchen to make breakfasts and lunches-to-bring daily. (Iceland restaurants are expensive so this helped a lot with our budget.) My two young adult kids each had their own room which is key at this stage in our family travels. :-) SO MUCH cheaper than a hotel and truly felt like home away from home. Bonus: The neighbors downstairs have an adorable cat who greeted us every time we came and departed. Thank you Hlíf for hosting us so graciously!

We are a family of 4 : 2 adults 2 kids aged 10 and 12 . We had an enjoyable time at Hlif’s place, great location close to all main supermarkets and just across the city center. The house is really cozy, clean and full of comforts. You will definitively appreciate the peaceful surrounding and the spectacular view!
