Picked this AirBnB option over others based on reviews, but ended up very confused about our experience versus what I had read. We called the hotel from the airport to request the hotel shuttle, but was told to get a taxi from the airport instead. On arrival, we spent 30 min at the reception "desk", which is a small stand in a small room that doubles as part of the restaurant, so a very cramped space where we stood next to a table of 5 eating dinner at 10 pm. The man checking us in seemed very confused about our reservation, and spent most of the time going through the AirBnB app on my phone, telling us at one point that our reservation was for the night prior (it wasn't) and then asking us for how we were going to pay. I needed to WhatsApp him a screenshot of the invoice from AirBnB, and while he said he recognized the name of the listed host, he made no attempt to contact the host or give us any insight into what he was still looking for. Eventually, we were given a room key for the first floor at the top of the flight of stairs (no elevator is not an issue for us), where it was loud because of the restaurant directly below. After travelling and arriving late, all we wanted was to shower and sleep before an early morning flight--but there were no towels in the room. When the towels were delivered, they were still slightly damp. We finally got to bed, and the room was still fairly illuminated, until a neighbor? the hotel? turned off some other light outside, which we were grateful for. On the plus side, the hotel was very helpful with coordinating a taxi for 0630 AM, including getting a second one when the first claimed his vehicle was too small for our baggage. However, I don't imagine I would stay here again when transiting through the Maldives in the future.

We were very pleased with the service we received here! The service from the employees was exceptional (everyone was very accommodating and quick to offer help) and the place was clean and right across from the ocean front. We would definitely stay again!

Nice ,cozy and close location to stay after a long trip from Canada. Breakfast included even during Ramadan. Thank You!
