Hayam Evi is located on a quiet side street in Kalkan’s Old Town. The property is newly renovated and provides comfort and convenience for a relaxed and memorable holiday on Türkiye's turquoise coast. This charming townhouse is only steps from Kalkan's public beach, restaurants, and shops. Water taxis close by will take you to the beach clubs dotting Kalkan’s coast. Hayam Evi’s rooftop balcony is a perfect place to start and end your day, gazing at the magnificent the sea view. The townhouse is situated on a corner lot in Kalkan's Old Town district. Guests enter from the street into an open plan common area. White-washed walls, wooden shutters, and local crafts add a traditional touch to the space. The living room area is furnished with comfortable couches and armchairs. The dining room table seats six. With cushioned high-back chairs, the dining room table can also serve as a work space. To the right is a fully equipped kitchen with a fabulous light blue refrigerator! The ground floor also has a powder room and plenty of storage and shelving. Up the stairs guests will find two bedrooms, one with a double-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms have closets and drawer storage, separate air conditioning units, in addition to wooden shutters that keep the rooms cool on warm days. The larger bedroom opens to a traditional Turkish balcony facing the scenic streets with a glimpse of the sea. In between the bedrooms is a large, gorgeous bathroom with a vaulted ceiling, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub! The washing machine and dryer, and the utility closet face the bathroom. The top floor ensuite bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet and drawer storage, and a separate air conditioning unit, in addition to light-blocking curtains. Sliding doors open to the rooftop terrace, arranged with comfortable outdoor furniture, perfect for viewing a spectacular sunrise or sunset. The Old Town restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops are steps away from the townhouse. Guests can enjoy anything from traditional Turkish delicacies and local fish to pub fare, steaks and fusion cuisine.

The apartment is very beautiful, definitely recommended to travellers who enjoy beautifully furnished place with many nice (local) details. We are still more than amazed by this wonderful place. In fact, it's like coming home in all its comfyness and elegance! Unfortunately, we don't have such a gorgeous terrace at home, so we probably have to return to Kalkan over and over again. Important to notice: the beautiful house is located next to the old city with all the bars and restaurants which are open until 2-3 a.m. So you can not expect the totally silence in the night.

It's a beautiful newly renovated home close to the Kalkan's public beach which makes a big difference taking into account the steep hill that the town is located on. Everything including air conditioning worked well, the check-in and communication was great and the welcome treats from the host was a very nice touch. The only downside was some loud music in the night coming from the restaurant closeby but I think it'd be like that anywhere in the centre

Oh my word, BEST AIRBNB EVER!!! Everything was just perfect - the house, the interior, the rooftop terrace & view, the location, the hostess…. Hayam Evi is a newly renovated house in Old Town Kalkan, walking distance from the beach and all the vibey shops/restaurants. The interior is something from a magazine equipped with all the best appliances - Debbie thought of literally everything. The bedrooms are spacious with quality linen, ample cupboard space and even guest robes. This was our 2nd visit to Kalkan and Old Town is by far the best spot to be!! (Trust me!) Everything is right there - 150m in each direction. Thank you Debbie for the most glorious holiday ever. Hayam Evi is phenomenal and we cannot wait to be back for more morning coffees & sunset aperols on your terrace. This is Airbnb’s biggest gem.

Just down the hill from Hayam Evi guests will find the public beach. Further along the harbor area, water taxis are waiting to take guests to the beach clubs along the coast. There guests can hire lounge chairs for the day and enjoy terrific food and drink. Kalkan also has a variety of water sports and daily boat trips on offer and scuba enthusiasts have the option of diving in Kalkan or in Kas. For guests interested in beaching outside of Kalkan, there is the beautiful Kaputas beach located 18 km on the way to Kas and the historic Patara beach located approximately 20 minutes away toward Fethiye. Buses and local taxi drivers have established rates to transport guests there and back.
