Had a lovely stay in Frenchie 2. The house had everything you could need and more. Perfect for the two of us. Alet is a pretty, quiet spot and within easy reach of Limoux and Espereza if you want more bustle. Thanks to Lorraine for a warm welcome and good recommendations 😊

La casa estava impecable, Lorraine és una excelent anfitriona, molt atent i procurant sempre que la nostra estada fos el màxim d’agradable. La cuina està molt ben equipada amb tota mena d’utensilis i accessoris. L’entorn és ple d’espais naturals on banyar-se, alguns amb aigües termals. Molt recomanable si busqueu un lloc tranquil on passar uns dies.

Lorraine est une hôte très accueillante , réactive . Le logement est bien placé, calme et surtout très propre rien à redire . Et les lits sont au tooop .

Merci pour cet accueil. Ce logement construit avec amour est idéal pour débarquer dans les alentours. Il propose quelques basiques toujours agréables à avoir sans retourner faire les courses... Le lieu est propre, les lits agréables, la cuisine fonctionnelle et très équipée, une TV connecté... Je recommande fortement cet endroit. Merci Lorraine !

A medieval village with connections to the historical region that is Languedoc. Lorraine, the proprietor of Frenchie 2, discoved a historic place within the village close to the ancient abbey in Alet and spent four years renovating that became a labor of love, and it shows. Every detail has been honored and restored including an upstairs balcony, living area, beautiful bathroom, and two French-inspired bedrooms. The place was left vacant for 30 years, and was built 300+ years ago. Lorraine has put loving detail into every room. And the private garden is so spacious with beautiful flowers, as well as a comfy table and chairs to eat al fresco beginning with an aperitif and wine from the region. So peaceful at night, too, with the bells from the abbey reminding when it's time to begin and end each day, and the birds...so many birds. Frenchie 2 connects you with the history of Occitanie and beautiful French living in Southern France. Lorraine, merci!, j'adore. ❀ Can't wait to visit again!
