The place is good if you want to get disconnected from busy city life. One important thing is that you bring all your grocery shopping with you for the whole stay as there is no nearby shops or shopping centres. It was a bit confusing to find our way to the waterfront but it was pure farm stay. The fireplace was amazing.

We were pretty disappointed to be told a week before checking in that despite being listed as pet friendly, dogs were not allowed in the house, and the yard is not secure, unfortunately the swimming pool was out of order and the house was pretty dusty with lots of cobwebs. While the house was comfortable, I would say it is better suited to a family of 5 than a group of 7or 8, who would struggle to fit around the table. The kitchen was well stocked but there is no pantry cupboard, which would be a pain for a long visit.

Everyone enjoyed our stay at Rohan Hill - the pool, the puzzles, the paddocks - they all made our time here great. It was wonderful to be able to visit the creek & river, have our 4 legged friend with us and relax in the very comfortable home. A most memorable experience getting away from it all.

What a beautiful place to stay! The kids loved the open space, river nearby, pool and cattle. Looking forward to visiting again.
