The place was charming and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable. It was clean and in a perfect location for us, close to where we wanted to be and also easy to get to downtown Richmond, which we love. I would have given it five stars but for a few maintenance issues that we experienced which our host tried valiantly but unsuccessfully to correct during our short stay. When she was unable to resolve the problems, she was kind enough to refund a portion of the rental.

Mariana did an outstanding job with her home, customer service and her overall Airbnb experience. She deserves 6 stars. Her home is warm & welcoming. No complaints at all.

Great house and host

Mariana was a great host and very quick to respond. She addressed all questions and concerns appropriately. Just be aware that this is a bottom floor unit in a two story house, you do not get the entire house to yourself. The sound insulation is pretty minimal, and you can hear people in the bedroom directly above yours, which can be quite irritating if you have noisy housemates. Footsteps were very loud, muffled conversations or TV can be heard, and unfortunately other nighttime activities can also be heard quite clearly. That was by far our biggest complaint.
