5 stars! Staying at 1830 Haynes was everything I could have wanted for my trip. The location was perfect, any place I needed to go was no more than 15 minutes away. Upon arriving at the house I instantly felt excited to be spending the next 2 months here. I absolutely adored the decor in my room. The cherry on top being one of my favorite books sitting right on the dresser, I knew right there this would be a place I would love and call home. Ms. Pearl is such a light and warm energy, always vibrant and making sure I had what I needed. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Nashville! Thank you Ms. Pearl for sharing your home with me, I would love to come back to visit sometime soon!

While the host was great, the area was not so desirable: no grocery store or public transportation within walking distance. Inside of the house, the windows in front of the kitchen/dining area, above the kitchen sink, and in my room were all covered by a frosted window film. I'm guessing they were added for privacy. It felt claustrophobic. I enjoy looking outside. Blackout curtains are better in that they allow for outside views.

As my 1st time in Nashville, one of the things I worried about was feeling alone. This was not the case being in company of Nella “Ms. Pearl!” From the moment I stepped onto the well cared for garden grounds, walking into the path of entrance, I was welcomed by what seemed to be family. Staying with Ms. Pearl means you will be cozy, warm, in community, and in laughter at all times. Be prepared to get your dancing shoes on! Warm up your vocal chords. I am highly recommending you stay here. If you enjoy being around plants and are willing to nurture a team environment, look no further. Thank you for making my transition to Nashville the best, Ms.Pearl! 🙏
