DO NOT RECOMMEND! During my stay at Susan’s Airbnb, I encountered several unfortunate issues that significantly impacted my experience. Specifically, I observed a substantial presence of insects, in various areas of the Airbnb . As the week progressed, plumbing problems emerged, leading to severe flooding and a persistent sewage odor that triggered debilitating migraines, necessitating my departure from the premises for health reasons. Regrettably, due to the unbearable sewage smell and ongoing flooding, the substandard conditions not only disrupted my stay but posed health risks, compelling me to prioritize my well-being. Following my complaint with Airbnb, the host levied accusations of drug use within the Airbnb, a claim I suspect carries racist undertones. As I am a doctor, I unequivocally refute such allegations and regard them with utmost seriousness. It is regrettable that the host has demonstrated a lack of integrity, and the condition of her Airbnb is indeed deplorable

Very affordable stay in a great neighborhood. Super close to downtown Chicago as well. Only thing I wish was for an actual kitchen. There is a plug in stove but not much space to use it. Retro microwave and air fryer too. Place is best for 2 people the most since there is 1 actual bed and it’s a full size one so pretty small. The couch does pull out to a bed as well. Full size laundry which was great and free Netflix is a plus. Owner was able to get me paper towels quickly as well. You are in a basement apartment with the owner and residence living above. But at least you get the downstairs to yourself. Overall great for a short 1-3 day visit in next to Chicago. Amazing for the price!

This space was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. 30-40 minute drive to downtown, but lots to do in the surrounding neighborhood. Susan was a great communicator and left a little tray of treats and coffee fixins as well as an assortment of hygeine supplies for us to use. We enjoyed our stay.
