Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. What makes this place special is that the mobile home is located on 3 1/2 acres of land. The space includes a living room with a futon bed, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with closet space and laundry room with washer and dryer. Several other amenities included. The location is nine miles outside of historical Selma, AL and 32 miles away from Prattville, AL. It's the perfect spot to relax and get-a-way. Ideal place for traveling contract workers.

A Stay at Charie's Place/Shepherd's Hut was like a home away from home. LaJenna is a great host and communicates well.
La'Jenna is an amazing host. She is not only responsive but she is proactive with communicating things that may be helpful to us.
LaJenna is an extremely informative host. She notified us that we were expecting severe weather, relayed where the emergency preparedness items were inside the home as well as provided locations for shelters if the weather necessitated for us to leave the residence. We are extremely appreciative of this extra care.
The Shepherd’s Hut provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. LaJenna is an excellent host.

Hi there! I lived in this mobile home as a single parent and working two jobs to pay for the home and land. It was hard but by God’s Grace, I was able pay for both in full. The Chari Place (Greek word for “Grace”) was established to share the peacefulness and quiet beauty of country living with a hint of modern ambiance. When I lived there, it was just that! I hope that it will be the same for all that stay with the Chari Place.
