I cannot begin to say enough good things about my stay at Germaine & Patrick’s place. I did a solo trip for the first time ever and was a little nervous, but the neighborhood was so safe and so close to the beach. I felt very comfortable as a single woman to walk to and from the beach and surrounding areas. Papagayo Beach is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Air Bnb. There is a grocery store, some shops, a casino, tattoo shop, restaurants, and bars. It is truly a perfect location. My favorite place was Zanzibar! Such an awesome spot with a great place to swim or snorkel. If you are looking to explore the rest of the island I would recommend a rental car, but most things are within a 30 min drive. Book rental cars ahead of time, as they are hard to come by. The outdoor shower was so cute lol I loved the vibe. Honestly, everything was perfect for what I needed. Thank you Germaine & Patrick for hosting me. I am Obsessed with Curaçao and cannot wait to come back ♥️

Alojarme en casa de Germaine fue una buena experiencia. Cuentas con todo lo necesario para tener una buena estadía, solo podría recomendar mejorar la presión de la ducha. En el sector cuentas con playas, restaurantes, casino, comercio, rent a car, supermercado, entre otros. Es un barrio hermoso, tranquilo, por el que puedes caminar a cualquier hora sin mayores preocupaciones. Si estás pensando en arrendar acá recomendaría que pienses en rentar un auto, puesto que la distancia desde el aeropuerto es considerable y en transporte público puedes llegar a tardar 3 horas. Si deseas de igual forma moverte por bus, sugiero revisar el sitio web autobusbedrijf, en donde puedes ver las frecuencias, paradas y buses que vienen en camino.
