Penne · 古巴家庭旅馆里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Charming, cozy "Casa Bianca 2" centro storico
Our newly renovated Casa Bianca has all the charm of the old building in which it is located on the walls of the historic city center of Penne, but with modern amenities. We have retained the special architectural features found in this area (brick barrel ceilings, wooden beams, mosaic floor designs). There are beautiful views from the balcony in all main rooms. Casa Bianca is just steps from shopping, bars, and restaurants, and a short drive from beaches, mountains, olive groves and wineries. CODICE STRUTTURA B02934 CODICE REGIONE (CIR) 068027BeB0023 Casa Bianca 2 is the smaller bedroom in the apartment. It is cozy and charming, with a brick barrel ceiling and a small built-desk, as well as a wrought iron bedstead and armoire. There is a small balcony on the street side of the house when you open the floor to ceiling window/door. Your shared spaces include the kitchen, large living room (both of which have a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains and hills with olive groves and vineyards, as well as the Adriatic Sea in the distance), and bathroom.
A beautiful gem with great views. Tastefully decorated while keeping the antiquity of the home. Jennifer was in constant contact with me even while busy with her mini vacation. Highly recommend
We are located in the “centro storico” or the historic part of the ancient city of Penne, whose founding predates Rome’s. The apartment is built just above the old city walls, and we have lovely views of the Majella and Grans Sasso mountains, as well as rolling hills of vineyards and olive groves. Casa Bianca is just a short walk from the center of town, with its cafés, restaurants, and shops. Our neighborhood is residential, with families who have lived here for many generations in the narrow, medieval streets.
As stated, in other parts of the description, one can basically walk to everything in just a few minutes from the apartment. There is parking at the end of our street in a former monastery parking lot. If it is full, there is ample parking nearby, but it will be a short walk to get to it. If you have a car, it is approximately 30 to 40 minutes to the Adriatic coast, and to the large city of Pescara. It is approximately the same amount of time to the most popular hiking areas in the Gran Sasso and Majella parks.

I am a retired foreign language teacher from Saratoga Springs, NY, but I live in Italy. I love to travel, and have been almost all over the world. I bring my little service dog, Helena, along wherever I go. She is a wonderful traveler and quiet and sweet companion! My husband, Fiore, is a native of Penne, Italy, and knowing LOTS of people, can help out with pretty much anything!
