Beautiful cottage, fantastic location and great host. Me and my family had a lovely stay in the cottage. Amanda was really helpful in recommending a pub for sunday lunch and also with directions and parking to the cottage. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful, immaculately clean cottage in a very central location. The best airbnb place we’ve stayed in. Amanda is a great host, there were flowers and milk when we arrived.

For us this was a wow property! To stay in a historic cottage that we only get to see on TV in NZ was a fabulous experience for us. Beautifully restored with modern appliances and fittings, tastefully decorated and immaculately presented, Cordwainer Cottage is unexpectedly spacious with plenty of room for our things and provided a comfortable and delightful stay. We found a car park outside the cottage with long term parking just up the road, and shops, cafes and gorgeous architecture are on your doorstep.

I recently stayed at this historic cottage in the heart of a Sandwich, and it was a wonderful experience. The cottage offered a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The pictures don't fully capture the quaint interior and great location. I also really appreciated the responsiveness of the host. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay in a historic setting.

We’ve stayed in Sandwich several times and by far this is the nicest house that we’ve stayed in. The whole house was spotless, had everything that we required and was in the best location for shops, restaurants and bars. The property has so much character and made our visit perfect. Thank you Amanda for all your support in making memories in Sandwich.
