奥克兰 · 整套客房 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · The Casita: private, peaceful, home away from home
The Casita is your home away from home. Warm, inviting, and perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, coffee, yoga, and much more! Easy access to 580 and 13, hiking trails, and BART. My backyard has lemon, apple, apricot, and fig trees - you're welcome to help yourself to the fruit when in season! The Casita is located behind my house. I will respect your privacy and am available should you need anything. I look forward to hosting you! Kitchen: - All the basics and then some so you can cook your own meals! - The kitchen sink has a HOT and COLD filtered water dispenser. - The coffee maker brews right into your mug, or one of the reusable to-go coffee cups. Heating & Cooling: - It has a mini split and an electric fireplace - great for staying cozy and warm in the colder months, and during warm weather, the mini split has A/C or you can use the two ceiling fans to cool off. - Extra blankets are in the round storage ottoman. TV: Sign in to your favorite channels on the Roku TCL TV - just remember to sign out of your account before you leave! Bedroom: There are two small skylights in the bedroom ceiling. The large closet provides both a dresser and plenty of space to hang your clothes, in addition to a luggage rack. Laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, an iron, and a clothes drying rack are in the laundry room closet. Bathroom: You'll find basic toiletries plus shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and extra towels in the bathroom, in addition to a scale and a space heater if the bathroom gets chilly. Dining: While the space does not have a dining area, guests are welcome to use the TV dinner trays, the desk (feel free to move it into the living room if you'd like), or dine al fresco on the patio. I can provide a larger table and more chairs if needed for outdoor dining. Last, but certainly not least - cleanliness! I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Here are a few highlights: - I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob - I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination - I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room - I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay - I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
It was just the right size for what was needed. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. While it's in the host's back yard, still felt private. It's close to a lot of restaurants and stuff to do. Easy access to highway and public transition. Great host and value.
Jennifer’s space was so perfect!!! My husband and I came into town so that I could receive a much needed knee surgery. We picked her spot because it was perfect for my rehabilitation. Her space was quiet, clean and so welcoming!! Jennifer was a fantastic host, offering up her driveway for us to have an easier time with me on crutches. She also made sure we had some kitchen essential so we felt at home!!! I highly recommend this location! Jennifer was absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for helping to make my recovery so much easier!!!
The Airbnb I stayed in was the best I've experienced so far. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, and they had thoughtfully stocked everything I could have possibly needed. Jenna truly had it all covered. The space was not only beautiful but also extremely friendly. I had absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay here again, 100%.
The Upper Dimond/Laurel neighborhood is a great mix of urban and suburban and is centrally located with lots of great restaurants, shops, and activities nearby.
There is usually plenty of street parking outside of my house but you may have to park farther down the street. MacArthur Blvd has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores that are walkable from The Casita. There's a bus stop on the corner of 35th & MacArthur that will take you to the Fruitvale BART station.
自我介绍
I have lived in Oakland since 2015 and moved to the Laurel neighborhood in 2018. I renovated what used to be the garage and converted it into an ADU to have a place for my parents to stay when they visit, and to host guests like you! I love Oakland and am happy to provide recommendations - it's a vibrant and diverse city with so much to explore! Side note: my legal name is Jennifer but I go by Jenna
