I just needed a place to sleep so, sadly, I did not have time to enjoy the place nor to get to know Miguel that seemed like a lovely person. The space he created on the edge between a little village and the fields feels very peaceful and well connected to nature. The room is separated from the rest of the house, so I feel like it’s a place where those who want privacy and those who are keen to connect also have the opportunity. It’s very comfortable and the bathroom is very cute. With a car, it’s very close to Santa Cruz, without I’d say around 25min walk. Overall, it’s a good price quality ratio !

Adoramos e vamos voltar! Todos da família queriam ficar naquela casa para sempre. O jardim com as atividades para crianças, a horta, as galinhas e os patos, os cães e principalmente o host Miguel! Queremos voltar em tempo de sol para aproveitar melhor a cozinha, a fogueira e o duche exterior! 🧡

We loved to stay in Miguel's place. Everything is self build in a sustainable and beautiful way. All you need is there, the rest is nature. Our two-years old son could get used to the dogs, chickens, ducks and pigeons and could stroll around over the whole terrain freely and play with everything that is there. The open kitchen is a big joy and we could eat everything that is growing in the vegetable garden. We will come back for sure and hope to spend also more moments chatting with Miguel.

Miguel was extremely welcoming and helpful from the start. I chose his place for some peaceful downtime and it was exactly what I needed. tranquil and calm his little cabin was the safe haven I had hoped for. The cute town and incredible coastline closeby are an added bonus. I am very grateful for his hospitality and warm welcome to Portugal.

J'avais vu dans les commentaires que quelqu'un disait que c'était le genre d'endroit que l'on veut garder secret et je suis tellement d'accord! ici c'est le calme, la convivialité, la nature.. j'aurais aimé rester bien plus longtemps. les cosmétiques naturels sont excellents aussi et je les recommande totalement à tous les voyageurs. la maison est magnifique, les nuits sont agréables, on s'y sent si bien. c'est vraiment mon nouvel endroit préféré. merci pour tout encore une fois ❤️
