We had an awesome time at Ljiljan’s place. We made it as a part of our core memory. The place was so homey that it felt like home from our childhood. We spent most of our time in the living room watching movies. We also had a lot of cooking done with their complete Kitchenware. They had boardgames and water activities that made our stay exciting. The bunkie was my highlight of this trip coz we had to see an amazing view every morning. It would have been better though if it had curtains for privacy. Over all amazing. They were easy to communicate with and accommodating to our request. The place and host is highly recommended. If it would be available next time, we would book it again.

The view from every window in this cottage is sublime. It is quite a hilly drive in but it is easy to find. It has a bunkie made of doors with windows that is an amazing place for a nap. The charming dock has chairs and a swimming ladder. It was too cold to swim, but we were seriously considering it. There are games and activities galore. The screened in porch is lovely. The weather turned cold and we were cozy warm thanks to the woodstove. It was gorgeous in the fall. The colours were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Extremely beautiful location and house, prefect for spending time and relax with family and friends. The host responded fast to questions and provided all important information. Also + point that bbq, canoe and kayak are available. Only (negative) point is that you need to bring your own bedsheets when you stay shorter than a week. Overall i can strongly recommend the Airbnb.

Amazing cottage with everything you need included. Beautiful location at the lake with a canoe as added bonus. This was such a great stay, we didn't want to leave. Thanks for having us!

We stayed at Ljilijan’s beautiful cottage in August. It’s exactly as you see in the pictures, a beautiful setting with all the amenities you need for a week at the cottage. We had cooler weather but took advantage of the huge projector screen and had fires outside at night. We also loved the gated deck - which was perfect to contain kids and pets! Ljiljan was very friendly - the personalized welcome card and gift basket were a very nice touch. He was also extremely responsive. We had an issue with the kitchen faucet while we were there and he was able to get a plumber in right away to replace the tap - very impressive considering the remote location! The property has a lovely waterfront, but if you are looking for a day trip to a BIG sandy beach (with easy/shallow entrance for small kids) we would highly recommend the papineau public beach - a 30 minute drive back through maynooth and down hwy 62. We are checking our calendar to see when we can book next year! Thanks, Ljiljan!
