My place is located in Samut Prakan, a historic city that sits on the mouth of a river that flows into the sea. This location gives the city a unique identity and makes it an interesting place to visit.
The city is home to several landmarks, including the Paknam market, where fresh produce is sold, and the ancient city, which is a condensed representation of Thailand's important places.
If you are a local lover, I recommend you visit the fresh market at Paknam or the Bang Pu Recreation Center to see the seagulls. You can also pay homage to a three-headed elephant, which is an important cultural site. These places can be visited in a day, and the mono rail passes through the front of my accommodation building, making it convenient to travel to these landmarks.
If you're looking for nearby amenities, a 24-hour 7-11 convenience store is just a 1-2 minute walk away. There are may street food shops beside the road, which are offer a yummy food, that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. If you're in the mood for coffee or bubble tea, Foodland, Jas Urban, and Big C are not far from my place.
I do highly recommend to ride a mono rail to Suan Lung Station(Y15) to try the morning market on weekend.
