Easy access to all the St. Louis attractions. Neighborhood felt safe and we easily found street parking each day. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Great option was visiting St. Louis!

We had a lot of fun staying at David’s and Taylor’s place. Very easy check in, extremely clean, and an amazing location. This place checks off all the right boxes. We had so, so much fun and this place had a lot to do it. We stayed for four nights and every day we would see St. Louis and come back every evening, tired, to a very restful home. We had a great, great time. The location is fantastic. Would highly recommend the Hemp Pad for your next St. Louis visit. Thank you David and Taylor for hosting us.
Historic Benton Park in St. Louis, Missouri is a charming and vibrant neighborhood with a rich history. It is known for its beautiful historic architecture, tree-lined streets, and community spirit. The neighborhood was founded in 1866 and named after Thomas Hart Benton, a prominent Missourian and U.S. senator.
The area is characterized by a mix of historic homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces. The neighborhood features a variety of architectural styles, including Italianate, Second Empire, Victorian, and Romanesque Revival. Many of these buildings have been beautifully restored and preserved.
Benton Park is home to Benton Park itself, a beautiful public park that features walking paths, a lake, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The park is a popular destination for both residents and tourists and is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
The neighborhood is also home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes. These businesses reflect the diversity of the community and offer a range of cuisine and shopping options. In addition, there are several community events held throughout the year, such as the Benton Park Art Fair and the Taste of Benton Park.
Overall, Benton Park is a wonderful neighborhood that offers a mix of history, culture, and community spirit. It is a great place to live, work, or visit in St. Louis, Missouri.
Street parking is free and very common to get a spot right out front of the house. Occasionally you may have to park down the street, but never very far. Sometimes you can snag a spot in the Venice Cafe parking lot, but they do not prefer you park there overnight.
As for getting around you can either drive if you have your car, or get an Uber for $10 or less to practically any major location downtown. Soulard is a (5min) drive, Ballpark Village (7min), Enterprise Center & City Park (8min). I’d recommend Uber to avoid parking.
