The villa is a short walk from the town center and supermarket, and Marlborough's wineries are a short drive away. At Bird Song Villa, our guests are always well taken care of. Bird Song Villa is in the quiet suburb of Witherlea in Blenheim, right at the top of the South Island. The house is on a large section with an established garden home to birds, bees, flowers, and fruit like peaches, nectarines, plums, lemons, apples, limes, blueberries, and figs. A short walk across the street leads to the Wither Hills Farm Park, which is full of hiking and mountain bike tracks. The house has been converted from a family home to a short-term rental property and has everything our guests need or want. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the outdoor living area has a large BBQ. Each bedroom has extra linen and towels, and the bathroom and laundry room are stocked with soap and toiletries. The house is fully serviced every week, so our guests get the hotel experience with the freedom and privacy of a large private home. We also have fiber internet, a smart TV, heating, air conditioning, and a fireplace that keeps the house cozy and warm during the colder months. Bird Song Villa has beautiful indoor/outdoor living downstairs and views across Marlborough upstairs. Blenheim is a great place to check out while traveling through New Zealand. The area has world-renowned wine and tons of hiking, biking, surfing, swimming, and relaxing opportunities. The Marlborough Sounds are a 30-minute drive, and the Richmond Ranges and Nelson Lakes are about an hour and a half away. The area also has three beautiful beaches: Rarangi for walking and surfing and Whites Bay and Robin Hood Beach for swimming and surfing. The Taylor River Trail is also a great way to walk or bike from the house into Town. We are happy to help by giving local recommendations and booking excursions, restaurants, and fun activities.
