Freyr is a charming 2-bed house located in the North Yorkshire fishing town of Whitby. The property sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms - a double and a twin both with en-suite facilities. One bathroom has a shower unit and the other has a bath with a shower over. On the ground floor, there is a cloakroom with a WC and hand basin, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge diner. Patio doors lead out to a charming garden with decking and a dining area.

Amazing location, easily walkable to all the main attractions. Fantastic parking (driveway), useful en-suite facilities for all, plus extra loo downstairs. Great little terrace for when the sun shines, quality beds, fab sofa, coffee machine…. I could go on!
Freyr was such a cosy clean home to return to at the end of long days out. It was very well equipped, the beds were comfy, it was warm and well heated with instant hot water. All mod cons! It was very useful to have Lidl just around the corner and nice to have a little walkway next to the house which cut through houses and out to the seafront road - about a 5-10 min stroll. The fish and chips were excellent at Trenchers and The Magpie. The Captain Cook museum at whitby had great voluteers bringing the history to life and we really enjoyed seeing the nesting seabirds at Bempton Cliffs (RSPB site). Whitby, Scarborough, Filey, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Pickering all good places to walk.
Such a super little house in a very quiet location. Spotlessly clean, so clean. And super for dogs. Treats, water bowls and mats, so thoughtful and so welcome. An old track bed lies behind the house, ideal for walking to the beach. About a 10 min walk to the beach and a little further into town, but this meant it was very quiet. Very comfy house which I would recommend. Excellent communication with the lovely host.
Great location for visiting Whitby ( Town and beach walkable ) . On site parking handy. Nice modern house with good facilities and nice quality bedding . Well kept ( maintained ) property , helpful host ( easily contacted by phone on arrival ).
The house is very comfortable, it's very well equipped and nicely furnished. The two bedrooms with en-ensuite bathrooms were perfect for me and my daughter. The location is great - very peaceful and not a long walk to the centre of Whitby. There are well-stocked shops nearby and we didn't use our car at all during the weekend. Maria was always helpful and responded straight away to any requests. I recommend staying at Freyr!

Freyr is located in a residential cul-de-sac within walking distance of the town, harbour and all other amenities.
There is parking for one car on the property and free street parking is available if needed. Whitby has a train station with services to Middlesborough and beyond, plus the North Yorkshire Moors Railway service to Pickering. There is also a bus network with direct services to Scarborough, Malton, York and villages in between.

We both live and work in Whitby so we are on hand should you have any issues during your stay.
