Beautiful home, surroundings. Everything here is quality and the owners’ careful touch is evident. From the exceptionally and fully equipped modern kitchen to the comfortable and pleasing furnishings, this is the nicest place we have stayed in Costa Rica. The swimming pool is super nice and stays cool enough to be refreshing. The grounds have been landscaped with care that gives an expansive feeling to go with the great views. One can see all the way up the coast to Manuel Antonio. The property and neighborhood felt very secure. There is an automatic gate that you enter a digital code to enter. The drive up to the house from Baru is a little over two miles, is gravel, and may be a bit dicey in places during rainy weather. We were glad we had 4x4, although I really hardly used it. Marilyn is a lovely host and her property managers are very responsive. When I inquired about folding chairs to take to the beach she purchased some and they were there when we arrived.

We stayed at four places during our travels in CR, and while all of them were nice this one was the crème de la crème! It was nice, private, very spacious, clean, beautiful views, and had everything you could possibly need, including a well equipped kitchen and a full laundry room. The views are better than the pictures. There is the main house with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, and there is a “casita” right next to it which feels like a large suite, completely private with its own bathroom and kitchen and outdoor space. The property is a 10-15 minutes drive up into the hills from Dominical, and while you def need a 4x4 the drive is not too bumpy. Communication with owners was great. All together 100% recommendable; Thank you Marylin!

Marilyn, Thank you so much for letting me stay at your home. The peace and quiet, sunsets and pool were perfect. Along with hummingbirds all day and capuchin monkeys in the evening was an adventure all on its own. I hope next year we can reconnect and do it again. Thanks again, Michael

the property was built with high quality materials. the pool and stone work amazing. the views were incredible. the house was spotless and rooms and bathrooms were pure luxury, it was secluded which was what we looked for. secure and quiet. any issues were delt with immediately by Marilyn and her staff. i will stay here again, a true gem.
