We had an amazing stay at this house. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Quick walk to town, water access across the path if you don't mind some steep steps. We mostly enjoyed mornings and evenings on the porch. Mai-Lynn was a fantasic host. I know there are lots of great places to stay on Little Corn, but we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I can’t say enough about what a great host Mai-Lynn was the entire time I was on LCI. A total of five weeks. She was totally responsive to my needs. The house is super Cute. It does need quite a bit of work, but that being said it’s a perfect retreat. I could walk to everything from the location and walk down to the two best restaurants in town. Bring plenty of bug spray as there’s no screens on the windows. The sunset makes up for this & is fantastic. The kitchen could use a few more amenities as far as dishes and things but I believe the owner is working on that. There’s a nice outdoor shower, which comes in handy and a beautiful porch, which you’ll spend most of the time on . I definitely plan on coming back here and it would be my first choice to stay at this house.

We stayed at the Mermaid house for almost one month and we will definitely come back. The location was perfect for us due to we had privacy, but only 5 minute walk to the town, and we had the PERFECT view of the ocean and port. We very much appreciated the outside porch for morning coffee and sunsets. The people of the island were extremely friendly and polite. We would definitely recommend.

The house is charming with a great view just as the pictures. The bed has a mosquito net but somehow they have learned how to get in...so bring insect repellent. We really enjoyed the week at the house, but we came at a time of parties (Christmas) coupled with the loud rain and fan meant we had to sleep with earplugs. As someone said in another review - definitively bring earplugs. The beaches and coves are truly perfect when the North winds and storms pass. Desideri restaurant has great options for European palates and if you want vegetarian food head to Derek's Place. Wifi works but it's capricious, so if you need to work buy a 7 or 30 day Claro SIM before you come as it works much better. Cornelia and Mai-Lynn were perfect hosts always responsive.

Idyllic colourful island home on the southwest of LCI with a lovely view back towards “town”. Quite private with not too many houses past it. Large wrap around porch with hammock facing the ocean waves and sunsets. What more could you ask for when staying on LCI?! The place was larger than we were expecting and we had fun “battening down the hatches” when tropical rains roared through and opening everything back up for breeze on the sun breaks. Host Mai-Lynn, Conny, and their friend Hader who helped with check in when Conny had to leave the island were all friendly, helpful, and very responsive. They organized for a fishing/snorkelling trip and a delivered to home Caribbean island meal for us which we enjoyed out on the porch on “island time”. If you are staying here near the rains; bring earplugs and bug spray! The roof is sheet metal so you’ll very much hear the storms loud and clear without them haha.
