The house has been constructed in 1982 and is completely made of wood, The construction reveals a hybrid atypical style between the local fare (house) and the chalet Suisse – this, as a result of the mixed Swiss/Tahitian marriage of the initial owners. Over the years however, many renovation have been made to give you all the necessary comfort while preserving the initial style and local atmosphere. Fare Haurevaiti has 3 rooms and the capacity to host up to 7 people. Please visit our other listing (Triple room house in the heart of Mo'orea) if you wish to privatise the house. This room is on the first floor accessible by quit steep stairs. It has its own bathroom. The other rooms have a private entrance with bathroom at the back of the house on the ground flour! Our 3 rooms are mainly made of recycled material and second-hand furniture that we refurbished for your greatest comfort. We love to create! Our vision is social and environmental respect and responsibility in every aspect. So we have worked to upscale materials that would have been discarded. In addition to this sustainability, we have supplied the rooms with natural elements of French Polynesia and combined modernity and local tradition to create a peaceful and comfortable place that offers escapism and a feeling of zenitude. Recently we also added solar panels to continue on our quest for sustainability!
