Paqui’s place was absolutely incredible. Located across from the Church on the plaza on top of the hill. It is THE BEST possible location in town. The house itself is cute, clean, rustic, and adorable. Paqui is very helpful. Responsive. Thoughtful. This is the place to stay if staying in Olvera.

Our driver knew just where to take us! He never delivered anyone to the location that we were at, but knew about the church and tower. Paqui has such a special place. Everyone else was walking up the hill just to get to where we were!!! The views, day and night, were breathtaking! Paqui’s home was spotlessly clean and had so many things that made us feel ‘right at home’: coffee in the kitchen!!!! If we were going to stay longer, we could have prepared a meal because she provided spices, pots, pans, etc…. We will tell our friends about this place so that they, too, can enjoy something one-of-a-kind.

Het huisje is in één woord fantastisch. Twee erg grote slaapkamers (één met badkamer en suite) en een extra badkamer. Het enige nadeel is dat de beide toiletten op die badkamers boven liggen en je dus steeds het steile krappe trapje op moet. De woonkamer is niet al te groot en de keuken is zeer goed ingericht (met een Nespresso!). Het huisje is zeer smaakvol ingericht. De host Paqui is zeer behulpzaam en extreem goed bereikbaar aangezien ze in het naastgelegen bureau van toerisme werkt. Ze deed er alles aan om ons een aangenaam verblijf te bezorgen. Veel recensies beschrijven dat er in Olvera erg veel te doen zou zijn, wij vonden Olvera echter erg rustig maar in de omgeving is enorm veel te bewonderen. De kerk is helaas  niet open voor bezoek en oogt enigszins vervallen. Er lopen erg veel honden los en in de stad liggen daardoor veel uitwerpselen. Wij hadden de pech dat er nieuwe riolering werd aangelegd waardoor het één grote bouwput was rondom ons huisje.

Wow! This apartment is stunning. It is in the perfect location of the picturesque white village of Olvera literally next door to the castle and on the square with the beautiful cathedral. The apartment is so thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable with temperpedic pillows and the bedroom had really strong A/C. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to make an extensive dinner there. The Wifi was great and we were able to do work there and stream on multiple devices with no problems. There was always parking right on the square, steps away from the apartment. And Paqui was a great host with excellent recommendations. Highly recommend!

Local exatamente ao lado a igreja e do castelo, no ponto mais alto da cidade. Caso queiram ir para o centro, pode ir a pé (a subida é íngreme, mas nada absurdo) ou de carro. A casa é muito charmosa e realmente idêntico ao descrito, com todas as comodidades necessárias. Muito bom mesmo.
